Our Parents

December 19, 1981

My parents both grew up in Oregon. After my father graduated from High School, he and his parents moved to a small town where he would later meet my mother. My parents meet when my mother was working with my fathers sister.  My mom, asked him on a date! She often tells a story of her first date with my father in which they had to wait for little Jeremy (our oldest brother) to chaperon their first date. That led to many more dates but within a short few months they feel in love. My father told my mother that he married her because she wanted a big family, just like her family. My father wanted the same. He knew that he and my mother would love all of us, nurture, and care for any children they had, at all times.

After they were married they welcomed their oldest son together Christopher, shortly afterwards they had another son named Benjamin. He died after 14 days due to complications with a heart murmur. A year and half later they welcomed their first daughter AnnaAlicia, and a year and half later their last son Jason! Three years later Jessica was born and five years after that had their last child, another daughter named Lisa! All together my parents had 7 children or as my mother likes to say 8 included my dad.

December 1999 - Grandma Emily's House 

Little by little the Weller Family has grown with kids getting married and having babies of their own. My parents are in-laws to 3 daughter in-laws and 1 son in-law, they are grandparents to 5 granddaughters and 5 grandsons and the parents to 4 miniature poodles. Our family has grown from 9 people to 22!
